 Corsair TurboFlash 1GB

After a lot of people asking and personally I did wonder myself the benefits of having a ReadyBoost device specifically for the job. Like most, I was curious to see the performance gains, if any, of having a memory device specifically for the task. So I figured I'd get one and run some tests on it. And bring you my findings.

 Sennheiser PC166

I use Skype every single day. I watch movies, TV shows and other such things most days also. So when the other half mentioned the annoying sound that was coming from my new head set (which cost me all of $10.00), I decided to look for a newer, more expensive, fancy headset. Now I'm not one to spend much money on myself. I would much rather buy expensive toys for the kids, and Carl. But since I do use them so much I wanted something comfortable, reliable, and that sounded good. I chose Sennheiser's PC 166. Heres why...

Cool Labs Liquid Pro & MetalPad Review

From Cool Laboratories these products came to me for review and soak testing (or burn-in testing) and i was actually
quite surprised when looking up the compound, to find that it/they are made entirely of metal. That is to say it is
a metal alloy and does not contain any silicon as other thermal pastes do. Ok so to most that wont mean much, but the short and simple part is, no silicon, less toxic, more metal (the right metal at least) the better its thermal properties will be. And considering its cheap price, frankly it looks like a bargain.

 World in Conflict Open Beta

Having played the Multiplayer Open Beta version of World in Conflict for almost a week now, I have decided to give my word on the game. So if you're not interested in war games and point & click baffunery, push off. This title brings the original concept of C&C tactical strategic gameplay with various types of units, available from a number of factions. Currently only USA and USSR are available in the beta for playing, however the medals/achievements screen (more on that later) shows the potential ability to play additional factions (NATO?) which may be available in the main or single player game when it comes to retail.

 Dell Inspiron 1501 Notebook

We browsed, compared, then browsed again. Finally deciding the best laptop for my needs was a Inspiron 1501. One of the things I liked about the Dell website was the ability to chose a base package and then customize it to exactly what I wanted. My final cost was...

 AppleTV Review

Today I received the AppleTV in the mail and quickly opened it up to reveal the slender little box inside. It certainly doesn't look much as you would expect from Apple. But behind the style and elegance lies just enough tech to get the job done, and done well.
