The House of Representatives passed an antispyware bill Tuesday on a voice vote. This is the first hurdle it had to face. Next is the bill will be sent to the Senate for approval.

The bill, sponsored by Zoe Lofgren (California Democrat) and Bob Goodlatte (Virginia Republican), would make it illegal to access a computer without authorization to commit another federal crime, such as a computer scam. T-Mobile has beaten Apple to the punch with a Wi-Fi mobile phone. Developed by Taiwan's High Tech Computer Corp., the T-Mobile Wing is also the first U.S. phone to run Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6 operating system.

The Wing, like Apple's iPhone operates on relatively slow GSM-based wireless infrastructures; Wi-Fi technology gives the phones access to high-speed data networks.

VIA Pico-ITX EPIA PX Series Motherboard
VIA has been working to release an ultra small motherboard/system to market and here it is. Bundled with all the capabilities of a regular budget PC this thing's looking to be a recipe for a home media player (maybe even HD player) given its hardare acceleration of mpeg2 and 4 video as well as WMV9, a built in HD Audio codec, network and choice of SATA or IDE hard drives. It'd be nice to see this used to make say, an AppleTV competitor perhaps?
